VOLUNTEER-to help others-to give back-to improve the world around you.
Thank you for considering joining our team of “egg"-ceptional volunteers. Please note that this list is regularly updated to reflect current needs of our clients and programs. We will gladly inform you of any changes during initial contact.
Assist with Administrative Support on an as-needed basis
- Assist with Arts & Crafts and other activities during various monthly support groups
- Tutor a child, adolescent or young adult
- Life Skills volunteers provide career support to on-site
residents (aged 14-21+)
- Mentor a child, adolescent, or young adult
- Employment Mentors provide career support to on-site
residents (aged 14-21+)
The above opportunities require the following process:
- Apply. (Complete the online application).
- Interview. The Volunteer Coordinator will schedule to meet with you.
- Background Check. Child safety is a priority, so we will review the
information on your background check. In some cases, a driving record is also required.
- References. You�ll need to provide three professional references.
Special projects that can be done on an individual basis or as a group include:
- Donation Drives - purchase or collect specified items, like new
school supplies or gift cards to Target, Wal-Mart, or other every day stores for clients involved in agency services
- Sponsor an Outing or Field Trip for the girls (aged 14-18) in our
Group Home
- Throw a Baby Shower and donate new items to help new mothers
and their babies
- Collect personal use items for the young adults (aged 18-21+)
in our Life Links residential program
- Partner with family or friends to help Transport Donations to clients
in need (large vehicle or trailer required)
- Service Individuals/Groups help with seasonal needs such as
beautifying grounds,minor repairs and other handy-personal tasks
- Holiday Helper volunteers assist with Santa's Workshop
